The Bulk & Recycling Drop-Off Site, 1001 50th St, is open with restrictions due to the pandemic. The site will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. or until the dumpsters are full and Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. or until the dumpsters are full. Citizens may schedule a curbside bulk waste pickup by calling the Department of Public Works at 262-653-4050, bulk waste pickups must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance of regular waste collections days.

The Yard Waste/Brush Drop-Off Site, 4071 88th Ave, is open during the months of April – November. The site is open Monday – Saturday from 8:00a.m. – 6:00p.m. The site is closed on Sundays and Holidays.

Curbside Yard Waste Collection begins the second week of May on the regular waste collection day through the second week of June – click here to view specific dates. Yard Waste must be placed in the City approved biodegradable bags. Bundled brush collection may be scheduled by calling the Department of Public Works at 262-653-4050, brush pickups must be scheduled as least 24 hours in advance of regular waste collection days.

City residents may drop off asphalt, brick, concrete, masonry, sand or stone if free from metal, rebar and other debris, at the Street Division (6415 35th Avenue) free of charge. Drop-offs may be made Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. (except holidays). The City accepts these materials from City residents and residential property owners only; no commercial disposal is allowed and proof of residence is required.


  • Residents must check in with the office before dropping off their materials.
  • No tile, dirt or plaster is allowed.
  • No dump trucks, or vehicles larger than a pickup truck, are allowed.
  • Sand or gravel is accepted, but must not be mixed with dirt.
  • The City can refuse service for any rule violations.
